By using Midi2Wav Recorder, you can:
Convert MIDI files to Wav;
Record to Wave your singing into microphone with MIDI playback
accompaniment;
Control the record level, register clipping and, accordingly,
control the recording quality;
Open and play Wav and MIDI files; View the set of instruments
in the MIDI song, their volume and pan, and change all these
attributes.

| 2. What is Midi2Wav Recorder and how it works? |
Technically MIDI to WAVE conversion is not possible
since MIDI is not actual audio but a series of numbers instructing
how music is to be played back. MIDI is entirely dependant on
the sound card that it will be played back on. Simply stated,
MIDI files have to be recorded using your sound card's internal
synth.

Midi2Wav Recorder is a full-featured MIDI and Wave Player.
Playback features:
Midi2Wav allows to play MIDI files of any formats
(and RMI too) and PCM Wave files;
MIDI and Wave players provide a positioning of playback;
Midi2Wav offers the possibility to select MIDI-Out
and Wave-Out devices;
Wave player provides visual representation and statistics
evaluations of audio signal. This feature may be useful for
comparing volume levels of existing files.

| 4. Is there anything special for midi file playback feature? |
For MIDI file playback you can use MIDI Tracks Viewer.
MIDI Tracks Viewer features:
Muting and soloing MIDI tracks Change an instrument of track;
Change a track volume and pan Change a track name;
Tracks Viewer works only with MIDI files written
in multitrack format #1 (MIDI 1).

| 5. What's the limitation of the demo version? |
DEMO Version is fully functional with the following
exceptions:
You can save only 10 sec wav file to disk, but you can listen to full recording
with Midi2Wav Player;
You cannot save MIDI files;
Batch Converting feature is disabled.

| 8. Why can't I open MIDI Tracks Viewer dialog?
|
This option is disabled when you are using MIDI file whose
format is another than #1 (MIDI 1). This file may be used only
for playback (and converting to Wave), but you cannot change
its MIDI track settings.

| 9. How can I avoid clipping? |
Reduce record level with Rec Level slider(s)
and repeat recording. If you need to reduce the rec level beneath
the middle of slider range, try to avoid clipping by reducing
the MIDI playback volume with MIDI Vol slider.

| 10. Why my recorded melody was distorted? |
Check the clipping warning. If the Statistic field contain
this warning, see previous item. Otherwise, it's possible the
free resources of your system are not enough for full-featured
operating. In this case try to disable visual controls
option and repeat recording.
To disable visual controls:
*Unselect View Signal command from Wave menu to disable this
option.
